James is a co-founder of M-BIRR. James has 20 years experience in developing mobile technology and has built a successful business in delivering mobile applications to blue chip clients including Vodafone, O2, Ericsson and may others across the globe. James started a software development company called NCL Technologies and the business has running for more than 10 years. James will manage the Dublin based office, including international business development, software development, platform management and IT support. James has a MSc and BA in Mathematics at Trinity College Dublin.

Thierry is a co-founder of M-BIRR. Prior to the formation of M-BIRR, he was the managing director of the KTF Group, a French/Irish investment house providing French financial products & services to Irish investors. Thierry has a broad international experience in sales and marketing and business development. For 15 years he held senior positions in the telecommunication industry where he dealt with telecom operators, fixed and mobile. Thierry has a master's degree in scientific innovation and an MBA from the University of Nancy. As COO, Thierry is in charge of the Ethiopian operation.

Previously CEO of Ethiopian Telecommunications Corporation (ETC), Amare brings a wealth of experience to M-BIRR. He has held many other positions over the last 16 years in ETC including Fixed Line General Manager, North-Western Region Manager and Southern Region Deputy Manager. Amare's knowledge of the distribution and sales business throughout Ethiopia is invaluable in advising on the setting up of a service such as M-BIRR. Amare has an MBA from the Open University Business School and a BA in Business and Public Administration from the Addis Ababa University. From day one Amare has been part of and committed to the M-BIRR vision.

Having worked for 32 years in a variety of Ethiopian Government Departments and served as an Ethiopian Diplomat in a number of Ethiopian embassies across the globe, Eta has invaluable local and international experience and language skills. She is providing support for liaison with clients, and organisation events and meetings within M-BIRR. Eta brings it all together in M-BIRR.
